We understand that the cost of a bail bond may be more than what you have available. To make payment easier on your pocket, we accept all types of credit cards, and we offer various payment plans with and without collaterals. Please contact us for more information.
The charges are set by the state and it’s usually 5-10% of the total bail amount. This doesn’t include the fees and expenses incurred by the bail bondsmen while processing your document and your bail. Please be careful in accepting cheap bail services because they’re illegal and there’s a big chance the so-called bondsman will not return your collateral.
We usually get contacted over the phone for bail services. After we get the defendants information over the phone, we will create a bail bond undertaking (agreement) and you’ll need to sign the application, indemnity agreement and the receipt to confirm that you agree to the terms of the bond. Once the paperwork is completed, the bail bondsmen will pass the requirements to the judge and post your bail to finally let you out of jail.
The bail amount is set by the preceding judge in your case and the amount is usually dependent on the severity of the crime.
Bail is a payment made by an arrested person, or a bail bondsman in behalf of the defendant, to the state in exchange of temporary freedom pending an ongoing investigation. Hence, a defendant who posted bail will be let out of prison temporarily, in the assurance that he/she will report to court as ordered or previously agreed upon. If the defendant fails to show up at any court proceeding, the bail bondsman will then pay the full bond amount in court.
